My path to image consulting wasn’t direct. It came from witnessing a pattern during my years in HR—working in recruitment, training, and employee development. I saw capable professionals held back not by their skills, but by a disconnect between their potential and how they presented themselves. Often, it was subtle: body language in interviews, understanding of professional etiquette, the gap between their expertise and their presence.
I also lived the personal side of this work—returning to work after maternity leave, navigating career transitions, rebuilding confidence through change. These experiences taught me that image isn’t superficial. It’s deeply connected to how we see ourselves and how confidently we pursue opportunity.
When I trained at the International Image Institute in Toronto, it gave me the methodology to help others close that gap—between how they’re perceived and the impact they want to make.
I trained at the International Image Institute in Toronto, where I completed the Image Consultant Mastery Program with Karen Brunger. My approach is based on the ABC Method — Appearance, Behaviour, and Communication.
As a member of the AICI (Association of Image Consultants International), my work follows recognized professional and ethical standards.
